In April 2010, David Davison reflects about his life and work in this interview
filmed in Cogorderos (León, Spain). The American artist
offers an intimate view of his creative process seen through
the lens of his philosophical and artistic journey since childhood.
He identifies his most important influences, teachers, and ideas,
while speaking about art, life, and loss.
His recent exhibition “Poetics of Memory”,
illuminates the shadow and serves as a mirror for his meditation
on belief. This video was part of Davison´s presentation at “CERCO
− International Contemporary Ceramics Exhibition”
in Zaragoza, Spain, 2010.
En esta entrevista, realizada en Cogorderos (León, España) en abril de 2010,
el artista norteamericano ofrece una mirada íntima a su vida y proceso creativo,
visto a través de la lente de su viaje filosófico y artístico desde la infancia.
